Frame was great quality!Bought this for hubby as he had some photos that were sent by his family from childhood and the frame broke in mailing. This fits nicely and his old family photo looks great. Easy to set up. Looks like it’d hold well.Thumbs up.First allow me to say the seller had until Sunday and I received it on Thursday, which I was very appreciative because I was really anxious to finish adding some new artwork to my master bathroom and this frame was the last item needed to frame a beautiful Ruth Thompson Phoenix print, so I was excited to get it and very happy to get it early. Now, for the not so good part. When I pay $27 for a picture frame, I expect it to have glass in it, this one does not, I was so taken by the weathered grey wood, that it came in the size I needed that I did not take the time to read the fine print at the bottom that read "plexiglass", now, is it good quality plexiglass, yes, does it look like glass, yes, but do I think a frame without glass should cost $27? No, I do not. Before the Plague was upon us, I use to buy ALL my frames at Hobby Lobby and either waited for the 50% off frame week OR would use the 40% off coupon so I guess I am a little spoiled AND have high expectations for my frames because I have never bought a "nice" frame at Hobby Lobby for $27 that did not have glass. Secondly, not so good, the frame itself does not look very natural, it looks more like a manufactured "weathered rustic" than actual weathered rustic, and again my basis for comparison are the weathered grey rustic frames I have bought there in the past but they no longer seem to carry which prompted me to buy this one. Lastly, my Ruth Thompson print was purchased at a Ruth Thompson gallery so each print was expensively matted with not only the print and mat but thick carboard backing. Unfortunately, with the print, mat and backing it was TOO thick to fit in the frame so the tabs would hold everything securely in place. I oculd have stopped right there, boxed it up and sent it back, I wanted too, but I didn't so I ended up using strong packaging tape to tape the back of the frame to the frame itself so everything was securely in place. Had it been a thin photo/print with a thin mat, it would have worked no problem, but in my case I had to do a lot to make it work. Does it look good on my bathroom wall? Yes. Would I buy another one or recommend your buying it? No.The frame fit and color are perfect fit my photo. It looks more brown than graySo while I was surprised that this indeed has what appears and feels to be real barn wood. I was disappointed in the cheap backing and flimsy plastic "glass" front. To be fair, I did not notice when I ordered that it DID say plexi-glass in the description. I am however, sticking with my 4 stars because of how cheap the backing and supporting slides are. Plus the supporting slides (that keep the back secure to the frame) don't even go all the way around. They are only on three of the four sides, making it loose on one side. I added a cardboard backing from another frame to hold it tightly together. Because this looks and feels like real rustic barn wood, I am keeping it and will replace the fake glass with real glass some day. I do love the look of this frame, however I just feel like for $26.99, it should have had real glass.
